It is a live, scenario-based evaluation designed to reveal how individuals think, prioritise, and respond under pressure.

Process & Details
- Select the role you wish to evaluate.
- Choose the assessment (there are currently three options available for each role).
- Our team will send the assessment to the candidate or employee. Each assessment takes 30 minutes to complete.
- You will receive the report within three business days of completion.
The report includes the full assessment, the candidate’s responses, and our evaluation framework.
Assessments are priced at $299 each, or $169 when added to a capability assessment.
General Manager Assessment
The PULSE: General Manager assessment evaluates how candidates approach complex operational and strategic challenges across a hospitality venue.
Candidates are presented with a realistic venue scenario and required to analyse the situation, prioritise actions, and outline how they would implement solutions within a defined timeframe.
This provides clear, observable insight into leadership judgement, commercial thinking, and decision-making under pressure.
The assessment is designed to reflect the breadth and complexity of challenges General Managers face across operations, people, and business performance.

Restaurant Manager Assessment
The PULSE: Restaurant Manager assessment evaluates how candidates respond to operational, commercial, and leadership challenges within a live restaurant environment.
Candidates are presented with realistic service and business scenarios and required to outline a structured response within a defined timeframe.
This approach provides clear insight into how individuals manage the realities of service, lead teams, and make commercially sound decisions in the moment.
The assessment is timed to reflect the pace and pressure Restaurant Managers experience across both service delivery and day-to-day operations.

The PULSE: Marketing Manager assessment evaluates how hospitality marketing leaders approach strategic campaigns, brand challenges, and performance optimisation within a live scenario environment.
Candidates are presented with a realistic venue marketing brief and required to develop a structured response within a defined timeframe.
